Dear Lord,
It is so easy to see you in the beauty of new life: the laugh of a baby, the perfection of a flower in bloom, the sun reflecting on the smooth surface of a calm lake… But I want to see you in the faces of the people you came to save: the abused child, the criminal, the undocumented immigrant, the drug addict, the homeless. Open my heart, Lord, so that I might learn to love others the way you have loved me. Amen.
